Onur Yüksek Teknoloji (OYT ), established in 1980, was conceived with a mission to provide cutting-edge engineering solutions to meet the diverse communication requirements of both civil and military sectors.
OYT was established in 1980 with the primary goal of providing engineering services for civil and military communications applications. Initially focused on supplying and integrating communication systems for the Turkish Armed Forces and NATO, the company expanded its expertise in subsequent years. Benefiting from its engineering infrastructure, OYT became a key business partner for international companies involved in civil and defense industry projects starting in the 1990s. The company has successfully executed numerous integration projects, including maritime traffic monitoring and control systems, meteorological radar systems, and ship navigation radar systems.
Over the years, OYT has diversified its capabilities, particularly in communication systems. Initiating Research and Development (R&D) efforts in the early 2010s, supported by TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), the company has excelled in designing redundant and real-time voice and data communication systems, becoming one of the few globally that specialize in radio systems integration and IP-based network technologies. OYT now boasts a wide array of voice and data communication systems exported to four continents.
Beyond communication systems, OYT is among the few domestic companies capable of integrating civil and military aviation systems in accordance with international standards. Active participation in organizations such as EUROCAE, FAA, and EUROCONTROL underscores the company's commitment to contributing to the establishment of industry standards.
In 2015, OYT ventured into the field of renewable energy technologies, focusing on solar power plants (SPP) and the production of solar tracking systems. The company continues to invest in its Solar Power Plant portfolio and aims to increase its electricity generation capacity significantly in the coming years.
Determined to uphold its competitive position in both domestic and international markets, ONUR places a strong emphasis on in-depth expertise across all its operational domains. The company's commitment to research and innovation is evident in its registered R&D center, acknowledged with an award in the "R&D and INNOVATION" category by the Ankara Chamber of Industry in 2023.
Serving esteemed organizations such as the Ministry of Defense (SSB), Air Forces Command, Naval Forces Command, Coast Guard Command, ASELSAN, TAI, Turkish ANSP (DHMI), State Railways (TCDD), and various international aviation institution.

FOUNDER OF THE COMPANY
The company was originally established as a sole proprietorship by Cengiz Dede in 1980 under the name ONUR. In 1991, it was restructured as “ONUR Mühendislik A.Ş.” and, most recently, in 2022, it adopted its current corporate identity as “ONUR Yüksek Teknoloji A.Ş.”
Mr. Dede led the company’s growth and institutionalization from its founding until 2025, when he stepped down from his active role. During this period, he successfully oversaw numerous projects involving the design, development, production, and integration of state-of-the-art systems for both military and civilian communication infrastructures.

DATA COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
Building on its established leadership in the voice communication systems domain, the company strategically expanded its operations into the Data Communication Systems sector in 2016. As a culmination of numerous Research and Development (R&D) projects conducted, the company has successfully developed a comprehensive product line encompassing integrated voice and data communication products. Since 2024, the company has strategically shifted its focus towards actively promoting and marketing these products on the international stage, aiming to enhance its market share and establish a stronger presence in the global market.

OYT has been conferred with the esteemed designation of "R&D Center" by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, subject to annual audits to uphold this recognition.
The company places a premium on pioneering product development, actively pursuing patents and copyrights through extensive collaborations with academic institutions.
In alignment with the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) framework, the Company's Research and Development (R&D) activities span from TRL-1 (Basic principles observed) to TRL-9 (Actual system proven in operational environment, competitive manufacturing in the case of key enabling technologies, or in space).
OYT strategically engages in collaborations with academic institutions for activities occurring between TRL-1 and TRL-4 (Technology validated in the lab), ensuring a comprehensive and rigorous developmental process.
