Networking for mobile platforms, in particular maritime platforms, that are widely dispersed requires to push the edge of known wireless network architectures. Traditional tactical data information exchange systems can no longer support increasing amount of information to be communicated. Satellite based networking alone on the other hand, is still worryingly vulnerable and cannot meet all required aspects of tactical and strategical networking. To cope with the amount and variety of information to be exchanged, the networking system needs to offer simultaneous facilitation and government of all available channels such as UHF and HF radios, satellite, wideband communication systems and beyond. OYT’s Data Communication Systems come forth as a concrete solution for establishment and government of mobile Ad-Hoc networks, to effectively enhance connectivity, while offering scalability and flexibility. The system brings IP based mesh network capability for legacy radios, in addition to other newer generation IP based High Capacity LOS, SATCOM, HF, UHF, and GSM systems. The system delivers full-scale communication backbone, based on network centric design. The communication system relies on uninterrupted, ad-hoc mesh network, that is established and maintained without human interference.

SYSTEM SOLUTIONS

OSR–IP1000 Tactical Mesh Networking System

The OSR-IP1000 comes forth as a concrete solution for establishment and government of mobile Ad-Hoc networks, to effectively enhance connectivity, while offering scalability and flexibility. The system brings IP based mesh network capability for legacy radios, in addition to other newer generation IP based SATCOM, HF, UHF, and GSM systems.

The OSR-IP1000 is a scalable, reliable, cost-effective and intelligent selforganizing mesh network solution for maritime, land and airborne platforms as well as for fixed sites, and provides network foundation for all command and control systems.

OSR-IP1000 is comprised of various components such as intelligent hybrid sub-net routers, software based modems and wireless communication modules, which may be bound with other standard IP based communication channels.

Integrated Tactical Mission System (ITMS)

ITMS is an integrated platform to primarily provide the communication and computing power backbone for the operational and strategic (mobile or static) units in the field. ITMS has the ability to consolidate all voice/video switching, Analog/IP radio integration, LAN/WAN data communications, hybrid network tactical routing and computing power for C4I applications.

“Integrated Tactical Mission System” (ITMS) sits at the core of OYT’s Network Based Communication System. ITMS runs necessary tactical software such as Command and Control, Tactical Communications, Radio Control, and Tactical Router. ITMS also delivers necessary interfaces for Communication Channels, Radios and Internal Services. “Integrated Tactical Mission System” (ITMS) may be in different forms in line with required capacity and space availability.

Small form ITMS delivers robust tactical routing functions, and may be deployed on smaller platforms with limited space and power availibilty. The small form factor is optimized to deliver high performance in limited spaces such as Unmanned Surface Vehicles, small boats or tactical vehicles. The interfaces are carefully designed to bind necessary external and internal connections. Modular ITMS provides enhanced interface options with higher capacity resources. The number of connections may be adjusted to fit in high complex scenarios to cover advanced combat management systems.

OIC-MP2000 Integrated Communication System for Naval Platforms (ICS)

OIC-MP2000 interconnects a broad variety of available communication channels onboard naval platforms, consisting of different architecture and communication technologies. The typical OIC-MP2000 configuration aims to bring all legacy equipment such as HF, VHF and UHF radios, sound powered phones, phone lines, voice crypto devices and data crypto devices to a single IP based pool. The resources are then shared by relevant user stations, in line with dynamic role-selection based rules. The system is scalable from one to almost unlimited numbers of user stations.

The most apparent feature of OIC-MP2000 is the capability to integrate existing legacy communication infrastructure to new generation IP networks. HF, VHF, UHF radios, and their related military crypto equipment are brought to IP world for ensuring a versatile switching of all available systems.

IP handling of voice services offers dissipationless switching without any loss in voice quality, where extremely high numbers of user stations are allowed to be plugged into the system

ONC-IP1000 Network Enabled Operational Communication System

The system delivers full-scale communication backbone, based on network centric design. The communication system relies on uninterrupted, ad-hoc mesh network, that is established and maintained without human interference.

The system consists of two main sub components:

OSV-IP1000 Unmanned Surface Vehicle Networking System

OYT’s USV Networking System solution delivers establishment and government of mobile ad-hoc networks to enhance connectivity, while offering scalability and flexibility. The system brings IP based mesh network capability for USVs, facilitating new generation Wideband Wireless Communication Module. The wideband network is harmonized and backed with SATCOM, and even with legacy HF, UHF radios to provide full coverage of range and bandwidth.

The design of the system rests on years of communication domain experience, gained from remote systems requirements and maritime-focused network enabled capabilities implementations. WCM-500 offers distinctive features for Military Operational Forces, such as use of tactical level command, control and communication systems in a single wideband network for supporting distributed fire capability and full spectrum situational awareness.

High-speed and high-volume data exchange capability delivers a collaborative execution process to prioritize, deconflict and synchronize delay sensitive missions.

The system output power and the frequency band used can be selected according to the platform of use.

WCM-500H Wearable Wireless Communication Module

WCM-500MP Military Platform Wireless Communication Module

The WCM-500M is a trustworthy ad-hoc mobile network solution for units such as military maritime platforms, tactical vehicles or unmanned surface vehicles to remain connected in operational theatre. It delivers wideband self-forming and self-healing mesh network for stationary and mobile platforms.

It has the feature of creating high transfer rate, formal (mesh), ad-hoc and center-free data networks.

It is designed to operate in an end-to-end hop manner to increase horizon range limits. Thanks to this, their ability to communicate is not limited by horizon range. Hopping ability has been tested for up to 6 jumps.

Military Platform WCM is designed to meet high mobility requirement both for maritime units and vehicles. The system is compatible with other WCMs, and may establish an efficient network with other deployed WCM units. It has a compact design to allow raid deployment.

WCM-500A Helo Wireless Communication Module

The WCM-500A is a trustworthy ad-hoc mobile network solution for helicopters, stations and command posts to remain connected in operational theatre. It delivers wideband self-forming and self-healing mesh network for stationary and mobile platforms. WCM-500A also can stream onboard video to desired node.

Mobile WCM is designed to meet high mobility requirement both for helos and command centers. The system is compatible with stationary WCMs, and may establish an efficient network with other deployed WCM units.

HSNR-500 Network Subnet Router

Our Hybrid Network Subnet Router (Tactical Router) provides cutting-edge and transparent tactical IP networking infrastructure without location limitations. The system is able to aggregate and converge existing radios (HF/VHF/UHF) for narrowband communications while supporting broadband newer generation wireless systems under a single solution.

The distinctive capabilities of the system come from hybrid use of reactive and proactive algorithms for the routing, which handles complex routing process of the mobile Ad-Hoc network.

The system has the capability to analyze hybrid performance metrics comprising of topology, link, data (QoS and related policies) and node parameters, and to route the data package through the most effective and the economic path accordingly.

It is a scalable, reliable, cost-effective and intelligent self-organizing mesh network solution for maritime, land and airborne platforms, as well as for coastal stations and headquarters, and provides foundation for network-centric warfare. HSNR-500 also offers a user-friendly interface for management of subsystems and wireless communication tools.

OSBM-200 Software Based Modem

OYT Software Based Modem provides IP network infrastructure over legacy radios, based on leading NATO STANAGS for HF, VHF and UHF. OSBM-200 consists of modem modules and network controllers, which also provide extended remote control and monitoring features.

OSBM-200 is a powerful radio data network solution for enabling IP based applications to communicate via HF, VHF and UHF networks. The hardware of the OSBM consists of Network Controller Modules, Modem Modules, and Power Supply Cards.

The Modem Module provides appropriate waveforms for legacy radios, based on NATO STANAG 4691 Annex-B.

The Network Controller Module carries out Automatic Repeat Request networking functions, in line with the standards set in STANAG 5066, STANAG 4691 and STANAG 4538. The system fully supports Mobile Ad-Hoc Relay Line of Sight Networking (MARLIN) implementation.

OEMP-400 Platform User Station

ONUR “User Station Units” provide user friendly access to integrated internal and/or external communication channels through a user-friendly touchscreen interface. Layout designs can easily be altered to fit different operational necessities. The optimal size of the touch screens can be determined according to operators’ functional requirements, space constraints, and configuration.

With the “User Station”, operators can remotely set, select and use radios, telephones, GSM, intercom and SATCOM channels. The status of these devices can be monitored from the “User Station”. It is also possible to manage and configure selected communication channels.

Once constructed, stations, operators, radio circuits, phone lines or VoIP panels may be accessed by a single touch virtual button.

The user interface of the system inherits from years of operator experience and offers a broad capability set, ranging from basic to advanced.

The users can easily construct their own interfaces to contain all necessary communication circuits.
