Dr. Alper BOTAN has been appointed as Vice President of “ONUR Mühendislik A.Ş.”.

Dr. BOTAN graduated from Hacettepe University Computer Engineering Department in 1991. He completed his master’s and doctoral studies in 2000.

In his professional life, he held various positions in “Marconi Communications Türkiye”, “Veri İletişim Sistemleri A.Ş.”, “Havelsan A.Ş.”, and “Aydın Yazılım A.Ş.”. Last, from 2006 to 2019 he was responsible for Security Solutions and Digital Transformation in “Thales Group Turkey”.

His main areas of expertise are wired and wireless communication systems, communication / data networks, information security, cyber security, digital transformation concepts and applications.
