Within the scope of VTMIS Project for Turkish Straits, ONUR and Lockheed Martin Overseas Services Corporation signed a contract for which our company undertook the responsibility to realize certain design, construction and installation activities at 14 stations in Istanbul and 7 in Canakkale straits. Most of these stations are newly constructed towers (heights ranging from 15 to 50 meters) located at the coast and are equipped with necessary communication and electronic systems. ONUR realized the following activities under this contract;
- Installation of X-Band Radar Antennas on top of Towers
- Foundation Design and Installation of 45 meter Guyed Mast Antennas and 35’ MF/HF Antennas
- Design, Manufacture and Installation of 6.1 meter Tubular Support Structures on top of Towers
- Design, Manufacture and Installation of 20 meter Lattice Tower
- Site Clearing, Fencing and Various Concrete Works
- Equipment Shelters and Power Generators Installation
- Installation of VHF/DF, VHF/FM Antennas on top of Towers
- Installation of AWOS Sensors
- Installation of Security Cameras and Intrusion Alarm Systems
- Geotechnical Investigation and Topographic Field Surveys
