With a contract signed in 1996, all telephone cable distribution systems and related infrastructure works (underground / overhead at inner-city and rural areas) for three major cities in Turkey had been realized by ONUR until the end of 2001.
Amount of Work Completed;
- Total length of underground cable duct: 1.894.968 meters
- Total length of trench : 342.629 meters
- Total number of cable for Primary Network (pairs) : 110.060
- Total number of cable for Secondary network (pairs) : 142.956

(Period : 2002-2005)
In 2002, ONUR had again been awarded by a similar contract from Turkish Telecom. With this second contract, six cities including Ankara (the capitol of Turkey) had been included in the work scope.
