ONUR has been playing a key role in the modernization of Turkish Air Force’s Air Traffic Control Towers since 1999. Under ONUR’s main contract, civil constructions, design, engineering, provision and installation of various navigation, electronic and communication systems for Malatya and Bandirma Air Traffic Control Towers have been realized.
Some of the systems provided within those contracts are;
- Voice Communication Control Switches (VCCS)
- Digital Voice Recording Systems
- ATIS Systems
- Airfield Lighting Remote Control Systems
- Meteorological Monitoring Systems
- TACAN and RAPCON Monitoring Systems
With another contract signed with Turkish Air Force in 2005, ONUR undertook the turn-key provision and installation of the above mentioned electronic and communication systems for the newly constructed Air Traffic Control Towers in Erkilet (Kayseri) and Etimesgut (Ankara) Air Bases.
